On December 28th 2012, BELL club members were very happy to hold a welcome meeting for students from Chosun university, Korea. Korean students attended the meeting with the passion to get to know more about Vietnamese culture. And in the first part of the meeting, BELL club members had shown them about the University of economics Ho Chi Minh city, BELL club and especially about Vietnamese culture.
Following to the presentation part, we organized some hilarious games for Vietnamese and Korean students play together. Through the games, we experienced many funny performances such as Gangnam style Vietnamese version, the children dance of Korean song “곰세마리” ( Gom Se Mari) and the children dance of Vietnamese song (in the song “Hey! The yellow butterfly”) with an extremely enthusiasm from Vietnamese and Korean students.
In the end of the meeting, Korean students shared with us their expectation in one month in Vietnam that is to know more about Vietnamese culture, to learn Vietnamese and , of course, to improve their English.
We are getting closer to each other; likewise, we understand clearer about Vietnamese and Korean culture as well. In addition, we hope to tighten our friendships and have more Culture Exchange Meeting like this.
